It’s always good to see local companies making a positive impression across the UK’s regional boundaries. Such is the case for Brownlow Utilities, an energy consultancy firm based out of West Lancashire Investment Centre in Skelmersdale who have been voted ‘Regional Consultancy of the Year 2017’ at the recent Energy Live TELCA awards held in London.
Voted the ‘Best New Awards Event‘ in the country, the Energy Live consultancy awards 2017 brought over 600 professionals from the UK utility and energy industry together at The HAC in London. Brownlow Utilities were shortlisted in the prime ‘Consultancy of the Year’ category sponsored by British Gas Business together with 10 energy consultancies from across the UK.
This award wasn’t judged on just turnover or size but in terms of quality of customer service, growth, innovation, knowledge and trust. It provoked questions about a company’s commitment to clients, their extent of industry knowledge and experience, transparency of fee structures and staff support and development.
Brownlow shone in this category for the North West region demonstrating that their customer-focused approach which is based on openness, honesty and transparency really is a way to operate in this challenging market. Since their inception in 2013, the team at Brownlow are growing from strength to strength driven by a passion and commitment to add value to a business - helping to deliver appropriate energy solutions in a cost-effective way – with nothing hidden!
Shaun McClarnon, Managing Director said ‘Winning this award clearly demonstrates that the way we do business, the way we treat our customers and suppliers and the value that we add to their businesses is the correct way to work in this industry. We enjoy helping businesses manage their energy better and strive to make them competitive and compliant in the most efficient and effective way.”
